Movies
Films, shorts and episodes with size content in them - some made for the community, and a great many that got here entirely by accident.
Upcoming
Announced or in production. Community releases and mainstream films alike - anything with size content confirmed on the way.
Nothing confirmed on the way right now. Know of something? Send it in.
Mainstream
Studio films with size content nobody involved intended as fetish material. The tip of the iceberg, and for most of us the first thing we ever saw.
-
Attack of the 50 Foot Woman 1958
The founding text. Nancy Archer grows after an encounter with an alien and goes looking for her cheating husband. Crude even by 1958 standards, and none of that has ever mattered - the poster alone did more for this fetish than any film since.
Scenes: The final act, once she is loose in town.
-
The Incredible Shrinking Man 1957
The other founding text, and a genuinely good film. Scott Carey shrinks steadily after passing through a radioactive cloud, and keeps shrinking. The famous ending goes somewhere no shrinking film has gone since.
Scenes: The basement act - the cat, the spider, the matchbox.
-
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids 1989
The one that got a whole generation. Four kids shrunk to a quarter inch and lost in their own back garden. Almost nobody in this community can talk about how they found it without this film coming up.
Scenes: The lawn crossing, and the scene with the shoe.
-
Village of the Giants 1965
Teenagers eat a substance called Goo, grow to about thirty feet, and take over a small town. Cheerfully terrible, and one of the earliest films to put growth itself - rather than an already-big monster - at the centre.
-
Dr. Cyclops 1940
A scientist in the Amazon shrinks his visitors to about a foot tall. Technicolor, and decades ahead of everything else on this list for effects work - the oversized sets still hold up.
-
The Devil-Doll 1936
Tod Browning's revenge picture, with escaped convicts shrinking people to doll size and using them to settle scores. The oldest film here, and the oversized-prop work is remarkable for its age.
-
Innerspace 1987
A test pilot is miniaturised and accidentally injected into a supermarket clerk. Comedy rather than fetish, but the scale writing is careful and the inside-a-person material lands squarely on the endosoma branch.
-
Downsizing 2017
People shrink themselves to five inches as an economic choice. Much more interested in the sociology than the scale, and the size material thins out after the first act - but the shrinking procedure sequence itself is unusually detailed.
Scenes: The procedure, early on.
-
Ant-Man 2015
The biggest-budget shrinking effects ever put on screen, and the sequels add growth in the other direction too. Weightless and jokey about it, but the scale-shift shots are technically the best-looking on this list by a distance.
-
Alice in Wonderland 1951
Drink me, eat me. Alice grows until she fills the house and shrinks until she can swim in her own tears, in the space of one reel. For a lot of people this was first, well before they knew it meant anything.
Live-Action
Live-action work made for the community - independent films, studio productions and clip work. Effects-heavy and expensive to make, which is why this is the thinnest list on the page. Much of it lives on clip stores and personal sites that are hard to verify from outside, so it grows slowly - send things in.
-
GSFCreator - live action catalogue 2007-
One of the few names producing live-action size material consistently rather than as a one-off, alongside their 3D work. Shot, composited and released in-house over close to two decades.
3D
Rendered and animated work. The largest and fastest-moving category in the community by a wide margin - most of what gets made now gets made here.
-
Victims of a Goddess 2024
Feature-length 3D release from GSFCreator, trailered publicly in 2024.
-
Redmoa - animated shorts Ongoing
Character-led 3D shorts released on a steady schedule, with a strong vore thread running through the size work. One of the largest audiences of anyone animating in this space.
-
Sizebox machinima 2016-
A whole informal genre: scenes staged inside Sizebox and recorded, rather than animated from scratch. The reason a free sandbox tool ended up producing more size footage than most studios.
Other
Anime, cartoons, TV episodes and shorts. Enormously important to how people find this fetish, because it is almost always where they find it first.
-
Attack on Titan 2013-2023
Not remotely intended as size content, and it landed in the community anyway - simply because it is the most sustained depiction of enormous humanoids and helpless small ones that mainstream animation has ever produced.
-
Land of the Giants 1968-1970
Irwin Allen series about a crew stranded on a planet where everything is twelve times normal size. Two seasons of oversized props and giant hands reaching into frame - a formative one for an older slice of the community.
-
The Secret World of Arrietty 2010
Ghibli's Borrowers adaptation. No fetish content whatsoever and it belongs here anyway: it is the most carefully observed depiction of living at four inches tall that anyone has animated - the physics, the weight of things, the sound design.
-
Gulliver's Travels 1726
The source of the whole thing, and worth listing even though it is a book. Lilliput and Brobdingnag are the two halves of this fetish written down three hundred years before it had a name - and Swift spends real time on the mechanics of scale.
